Hosted at Serenity Haven in the Stone Mountain area, Rise & Renew: Supporting Well-Being in Black Women After the Loss of a Loved One (RENEW) is a soul-centered, two-day wellness retreat that invites participants into guided healing practices, community support, and creative expression. Thanks to generous funding from The Good Stewards Partnership—a nonprofit founded by the owners of Serenity Haven and committed to cultivating holistic well-being and community care—the full cost of retreat registration is covered for all participants.


We’re inviting 40 women
to participate in a wellness study that includes

10-WEEK VIRTUAL SUPPORT SERIES CALLED
SISTA CIRCLES
Co-led by a facilitator and minister
A BLEND OF SPIRITUAL, EMOTIONAL, AND PRACTICAL SUPPORT TO GUIDE YOUR
HEALING JOURNEY

You may be eligible if you

Identify as a Black/African American woman aged 40 or older

Have experienced a major personal loss such as a spouse or long-term partner, child (including pregnancy loss), or parent

Are open to holistic healing, including spiritual reflection, group dialogue, and wellness practices

Can attend a weekend retreat June 27th to 28th and participate in 10 weekly online sessions

Reside in the Southern United States
What you’ll receive
Access to healing circles, expert workshops, and creative expression
A supportive sisterhood and guided group experience
Mental health and wellness screenings with referrals if needed
Financial support for travel and lodging available upon request
